After being closed for 11 months for improvements, the Elora Waste Facility will reopen to the public next month.
The facility which will open March 3rd saw various work be done including an expanded drop off area, scale house construction with installation of dual scales, paving and concrete works and the replacement of the retaining wall and Household Hazardous Waste building.
Steve O’Neill, Solid Waste Services Committee Chair says these upgrades will make the site function more efficiently and improve safety, from an unloading and traffic management standpoint.
