Westario Power and Bruce Power Net Zero have announced the first set of electric vehicle charging stations which will make their way to Brockton this summer.
President and CEO of Westario Power, Jenny Alfandary says through this partnership, they are living up to their mission of powering peoples lives while also responding to climate change and supporting the transition to Net Zero.
The installation of the first of three potential three EV charging stations in Brockton will start the community centre, which serves as a local hub in downtown Walkerton.
In addition to the site in Walkerton, there is also consideration to charging stations at the Elmwood Community Centre and Cargill Community Centre.
Mayor Chris Peabody says this fulfills the community vision of environmental integrity and progressive economic development.
