Officers were called to the scene on January 17th around 12:30 pm at the intersection of Wellington Road 7 and Wellington Road 12.
Initial reports indicated that a tractor trailer, minivan and SUV had collided, and one person had sustained serious injuries.
OPP, Mapleton Fire and Guelph Wellington Paramedics along with Hydro One attended the scene. The driver of the SUV was transferred to local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other reported injuries.
The cause of the collision is being investigated. The roadway was closed for around 5 hours.
The OPP are asking any witnesses to the incident to contact them or anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
