A 31 year old woman is facing a series of charges after failing to stop for police.
On September 23rd an officer tried to stop a driver on Wellington Road 19 but the driver fled the scene.
Police later located the driver who was arrested without incident.
During a search police found nine grams of suspected cocaine, drug paraphernalia, a prohibited weapon with several BB guns also seized.
The 31 year old from Guelph-Eramosa faces a multiple charges;
· Flight from peace officer
· Operation while Impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
· Operation while Prohibited
· Possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon at an unauthorized place
· Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
· Drive while under suspension (two counts)
· Fail to stop for police
· Insecure load
· Drive motor vehicle with open container of liquor.
The accused will appear in Guelph court later this week.
