Driver Blows Past Stop Sign in North Perth

A 29 year old of Mulmur Township is facing charges after blowing past a stop sign.

On August 5th just before 1am, Perth County OPP stopped a vehicle at Perth Line 72 and Road 164 in North Perth after an officer saw the driver not stop at a stop sign.

During the stop the driver showed signs of impairment. The driver refused to give police a breath sample and was arrested.

As a result the 29 year old has been charged with Failing to Stop at a Stop sign and Refusal to Comply with a Demand.

The accused will appear in Stratford court on September 11th.
