11 charges have laid after a traffic stop in Centre Wellington.
On January 9th at around 12:45pm, Wellington County OPP were conducting traffic enforcement when officers stopped a commercial motor vehicle on Wellington Road 26.
A 46 year old of Elora has been charged with Operating an Unsafe Vehicle, Driving a CMV with an Improper Licence and Driving a CMV with a major defect.
Further a Fergus business has been charged with Operating a CMV with no valid CVOR certificate, Failure to Ensure Daily Inspection Log is Conducted Properly and Failure to Ensure Performance Standards are Met.
Operating a CMV with improper equipment or major defects can be extremely dangerous to everyone out on the road.
