Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. David Williams says Ontario is indeed in the third wave of COVID-19.
However Dr. Williams, in a press conference said this wave is more so one of the other COVID-19 variants spreading much quicker across the province. Dr. Williams says, regardless of the framework, every resident must do their part.
“It doesn’t matter what level of framework you’re in. Whether you’re in the grey lockdown or in the green or anywhere in between, the key message personally is you need to keep doing what you need to do.” said Williams.
Any changes to a health units framework will be announced later today.
