Premier Doug Ford has spoken to the province almost every weekday afternoon since March at the start of the pandemic and lockdown.
However the Premier will now only address the province in briefings when there is a major update. The end of daily briefings comes as the legislature is adjourning for a two month winter break.
Fords office did not say why the daily briefings were ending but added Premier Ford will be available whenever there is important news to share with the province.
