Premier Doug Ford spoke yesterday for the first time in months regarding the new provincial mandate, requiring proof of vaccination and ID to prove identity to enter certain businesses such as gyms or indoor dining.
Ford reminds residents this is not a decision for businesses and must follow the rules, asking to not berate the business or employees as they follow new provincial rules.
“Do not take your frustrations out on businesses or their staff. We know this will be tough for some but we owe it to our businesses to avoid lockdowns.” said Ford.
Push back has been seen on the province wide mandate with protests planned across the province regarding the vaccine certificate program.
