A Tavistock family is without their home and most of their possessions with their family dog missing following a blaze on Woodstock Street East.
Fire crews from Tavistock, Hickson and Innerkip all responded to the fire shortly after 2am on Tuesday with all five occupants able to escape without any injuries.
The home suffered extensive damage with costs still being estimated.
The community however has shined in support with donations of cash, gift cards and various items collected to the point organizers have paused donations.
A GoFundMe has also been set up which of Thursday morning has surpassed its $10,000 goal.
