Wellington County Councillor Diane Ballantyne has been honoured with a 2024 Women of Influence in Local Government Award from Municipal World Inc.
The award recognizes women across Canada who have made significant contributions to the field whether it be political or through administrative.
Warden Andy Lennox says as both a councillor and teacher, Ballantyne has demonstrated leadership and strength and has been a strong advocate for the county.
