The defence lawyer for a 38 year old London man who has been convicted of attempted murder after stabbing a woman outside a St Marys elementary school has asked her client to receive a 10-12 year prison sentence.
38 year old Derek Boyd had his 2nd day of sentencing after hearing from the Crown a call for a life sentence.
Boyd pleaded guilty last September, alongside his willingness to seek counseling and an apology given during the first day of sentencing has been evidence of his remorse says his lawyer.
Superior Court Justice Marc Garson adjourned the case to April 8th.
