The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance has announced operations at the Stratford General Hospital will return following a COVID-19 outbreak which was declared earlier this month.
The outbreak which was declared May 3rd on the hospital’s medicine unit after three cases were identified.
The outbreak affected five patients.
In a release, officials said it was anticipated the outbreak and all five cases would be resolved and declared over this week.
As of Tuesday, the medicine unit has reopened to admissions and transfer.
Family and caregiver access has also been restored.
