According to Health Minister Christine Elliot, plans are coming later this week regarding third COVID-19 doses for residents.
Elliot sharing on social media there will be a plan about timing for third shots with information for all Ontarians.
Elliot’s comments come as the National Advisory Committee on Immunization issued new guidelines to the country about who should be eligible for booster shots.
The committee recommends third shots for fully vaccinated people with the AstraZeneca vaccine, residents over the age of 70, more health care workers and people from Indigenous communities.
