Wellington County’s Solid Waste Services were honoured by the Municipal Waste Association with two Promotion and Education Awards at their annual Spring Workshop.
The County service was given Silver in the Print Tool Category for the Spring/Summer 2024 Newsletter and Silver in the Campaign Category for municipalities under 50,000 households for the Minimum Waste Fee campaign.
The awards showcases and celebrates municipal excellence and waste minimization and diversion.
Steve O’Neil, Solid Waste Services Committee Chair says its an honour for the County to once again be recognized by the Municipal Waste Association for their education and outreach efforts.
