Centre Wellington council is giving the green light to keep the lights on at the Green Space in Elora for a while longer.
The deal with Kat Florence Canada was reached last July where the company would pay for outdoor seasonal lights in the space and were first turned on after Remembrance Day and was slotted to be removed this month.
Manager of Parks Lucas Rogerson says the company made a request to extend the lighting to March 16th to line up with the Village of Lights initiative.
The Village of Lights runs Friday-Sunday over the winter with hopes to draw in more tourists over the slower months.
