Funded by an investment by the Province, the new stand-alone centre will accommodate 49 children under the age of 4.
The School Board partnered with the County to ensure the project would meet the needs of the community and address child care and family support facility requirements.
The operator of the new facility will be the YMCA of Three Rivers, while the EarlyON Child and Family Centre will be operated by the Community Resource Centre.
Both were awarded through formal expressions of interest in 2018.
The Board is now seeking builders with a proposed opening date for the Centre in the Fall of this year.
