A Perth County OPP Constable has been recognized by his peers with a provincial accolade.
The year Accolade Awards recognize exceptional achievements with the OPP with 23 different categories.
On Tuesday at a ceremony in West Perth, Constable Mike Garniss was recognized with an Impaired Driving Accolade Award for his work and commitment to stop impaired driving across Perth County.
Garniss has served with Perth County OPP for over six years who in 2022 laid 36 impaired driver charges, the most by an officer across the West Region and 2nd in the province.
His work has shown lives saved and tragedies prevented locally.
