Some residents in Mapleton may have noticed a letter in their mail around a condition survey for Mapleton Water & Wastewater Upgrades coming from OZA Inspections Ltd out of Stoney Creek.
The letter says construction operations are expected to start in the near future and a survey is being conducted of property next to the project site which would include the property of where the letter was sent.
Some concerns have been raised by those who received the letter on its legitimacy which the township says the letter is real and was delivered directly by township staff.
