A $100,000 will help support the new Community Outreach Centre for the Humane Society of Kitchener-Waterloo & Stratford-Perth.
On August 7th, members of the Kitchener-Waterloo Centre marked the start of construction of the outreach centre, celebrated with the Rotary Club of Kitchener-Westmount with a contribution of $100,000 made for the project.
The new outreach centre will meet increasing demand for services for pets and families.
This expansion is the focus of the Better Together Capital Campaign which is designed to strengthen the Humane Society of Kitchener-Waterloo and Stratford-Perth’s ability to deliver pet services, dog training, education and outreach, adoption events and programming such as the pet pantry.
