As budget processes begin to wrap up and be adopted, Community Living North Perth continues to urge residents to take part in the 5 to Survive campaign.
The goal is to urge the province to take action to increase funding for Community Living who since 1992 have only seen a 2 per cent increase in the budget.
The 5 to Survive campaign builds on the hope to boost the developmental service sector’s base funding by 5 per cent.
A petition is available online which intends to reach local MPP’s, the Minister of Children, Community and Social Services Michael Parsa as well as the Premier.
