A collision with a gas meter has resulted in charges against a 45 year old from Central Huron.
OPP were joined with Huron Fire, Huron County Paramedics and Union Gas Technicians to the scene of a collision on April 26th.
Emergency services discovered an SUV had collided with a gas meter close to a residence on Stone School Line in Central Huron causing considerable damage to the gas meter.
Police were able to determine the driver was under the influence while driving and taken into custody for further testing.
As a result the 45 year old was charged with Failure to Comply with a Demand.
The accused will appear in Goderich court on June 19th.
