Coldest Night of the Year Walk is on for Feb. 20th

The United Way Perth Huron isn’t letting the Covid-19 pandemic stop their Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk.

The event is held to raise awareness and money for homeless, hurting and hungry people in North Perth.

This year’s walk aims to raise money for programs in North Perth supporting youth through early intervention counselling, counseling for youth who witness domestic violence, community support for homeless youth and the United Way Perth Huron’s Urgent Needs fund.

This fund has helped over 660 people across Perth-Huron since May.

The event is being held during the month of February. Walkers can undertake the walk at anytime in the month of February including the official event day February 20th.

People can sign up for the walk online at cnoy.org/northperth.
