United Way Perth Huron is gearing up for Coldest Night of the Year come February in North Perth.
Taking place on February 28th, the event aims to raise needed funds for United Way with a local goal of $58,500 set for North Perth.
Families, service clubs, church groups, workplaces and more are all encouraged to register for the walk and start fundraising.
Those who raise over $150 or $75 for youth under 18 will receive a coldest night toque.
Chair of the United Way Perth Huron North Perth Community Committee, Lee Anne Andriessen says funds raised address challenges in North Perth related to chronic homelessness and housing affordability.
