The board of directors for the Canadian Mental Health Association Ontario Division (CMHA) has revoked the charter of CMHA Huron-Perth.
This will terminate the agreement between CMHA Ontario and the Huron-Perth branch six months from now. Revoking of the charter means the organization cannot use the Canadian Mental Health Association logo or brand past January 30th 2022.
The Ontario board of directors for CMHA says they have lost faith in the Huron-Perth branch to take action to live up to the standards and high quality of care required of a CMHA branch.
The Ontario board has said they concerns of the lack of desire from the Huron-Perth branch’s leadership to enhance service delivery, ultimately leading to revoking the charter.
