Due to a shortage of nursing staff the Chesley Emergency Department has needed to close for the remainder of the day.
The ED will reopen on Thursday at 7am and return to its regular hours of service.
During this closure paramedics remain available and will reroute patients to the nearest open emergency department.
Anyone needing immediate medical attention should call 911.
