The Chesley hospital’s emergency department will see an extended closure due to staffing shortages.
The ED which has been closed since Friday afternoon will remain closed today due to insufficient staffing, reopening on Wednesday at 7am.
Those needing medical assistance are asked to call 911 with paramedics remaining available and re-routing to the nearest open emergency department.
