Centre Wellington staff has been given a higher spending cap without the need of council approval.
Changes include for staff awards within a budget of $250,000 instead of the original $100,000.
The request was provided during a recent meeting saying while the existing bylaw works well, it’s out of date.
Adam McNabb, Managing Director of Corporate Services and Treasurer says this move will given staff the authority to approve anything within budget.
