The population growth in Centre Wellington has boomed to highest across Wellington County.
Results seen from the 2021 census show the township has 31,093 residents, a jump of 10.8 per cent from the 2016 census when the population was only at 28,000.
Other municipalities saw minor growth over the years such as Minto at 4.9 per cent over the past five years and Wellington North at4.3 per cent.
As a whole, Wellington County’s population sits at 97,286.
