Centre Wellington councillor reaches goal for long distance walk

Centre Wellington councillor Neil Dunsmore has announced that his fundraising campaign  Steps for Silence walk has reached and exceeded the $25,000 goal set earlier this year.

He announced at the end of December that his fundraising walk from Elora to Ottawa in September has raised $26,485.

The walk was to raise funds and to draw awareness of mental illness and suicide prevention initiatives.
