A celebration of life for a well loved Drayton man is being held on Wednesday.
The community outpoured a level of support on social media after learning John Ford had passed away peacefully at the age of 64.
Ford was well known in the community working at a local grocery store for many years.
An obituary writes John would greet all customers by name, he would reach so many more people than just Drayton.
The obituary for John says the family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home in Drayton on April 2nd from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with a celebration at the Drayton Arena Complex on April 3rd at 11am.
Donations to the Palmerston Hospital’s MRI Campaign is being appreciated by the family.
