Those thinking of running for council in Huron County, there is still time to look at what all goes into to running for council and what goes on inside the chambers.
Huron County is holding a candidate information session night on Wednesday taking place in Clinton at Libro Community Hall.
Susan Cronin, Director of Legislative Services and County Clerk says they’ll look over the responsibilities of elected officials and how residents can participate in shaping their communities.
The session is being run by clerks from municipalities across the county as part of ongoing efforts to support participation in local government and encourage community engagement in the democratic process.
The session runs on Wednesday starting at 6:30pm.
