United Way branches across Perth-Huron are gearing up for their campaign kickoff.
In Wingham the North Huron Wescast Community Complex will be home for the kickoff during their volunteer fair alongside the Wingham Community Connectors on September 24th.
Anywhere from 25-30 organizations are expected to be in attendance.
Lisa Harper, the Community Development Manager with the North Huron area of United Way Perth Huron says anyone is welcome to attend regardless of experience for those wanting to get into volunteering.
“I would say initially you won’t need a whole lot of experience volunteering. The hours depend specifically on each individual organization.” said Harper.
The campaign kickoff announcement will take place at 2pm in Wingham as the volunteer fair going from 1-3pm.
