Support for the Inspiring Our Future campaign hasn’t slowed down as the group heading the fundraising for upgrades at the BMG Community Centre in Brussels has accepted another level of local support.
Canvassers Jeff McGavin and Steve Knight were present at the home of Chris and Erin Blake for a $10,000 donation from Blakestyle Design and Drafting for the campaign.
Campaign officials say the Chris was a founding member of the building committee, being part of the journey over the last 5 years.
Upgrades at the community centre will bring the facility up to modern standards, provide something for all ages and revitalize the hub for recreation the community can take pride in.
