The Atwood Lions are into the final stages of preparing to build what they are dubbed “The Pathway Through the Park”.
The Lions have been working towards adding a stone pathway in the park in Atwood connecting all the amenities in the area together and are giving residents the chance to sponsor stones on the pathway to help them fundraise.
Mike McCourt with the Atwood Lions says the fundraising for the pathway ties in with a recent pledge the Lions made in revitalizing the community centre.
“The pathway is all tied together with the Lions pledge of $1 million for the revitalization/rebuilding of the North Perth Community Centre in Atwood. That’s a pretty exciting undertaking for the Lions” said McCourt.
Stones are available to order which are $250 for a 12×12 and $150 for a 6×12 with orders being accepted from the Atwood Lions website.
