Details from the Atwood Lions show their recent Canada Day celebration saw amazing success.
Around 4 dozen prizes were handed out which all were donated from local businesses, over 200 decorated rocks were returned with $4000 in rock and home decorating, chalk and colouring contest prize donations were given.
1100 pork chop meals were sold which is roughly 850 pounds of Perth County Pork Producers pork chops were used.
All eyes look towards next year to see if the success will continue and top what was seen for 2021.
