Perth County OPP are turning to the public after an attempted abduction on Wednesday in Perth East.
At around 11:10am on Perth Road 131 just south of Line 86 a youth was riding their bike when they were stopped by a man standing outside his vehicle.
It was determined the suspect asked to the youth to stop and ask multiple questions, made inappropriate comments and grabbed the youth.
The victim was able to get free with the suspect leaving immediately last seen heading northbound on Perth Road 131.
The suspect is described as white in his 30-40’s around 5’6 in height with a heavier build, short to medium dark hair, a slight accent and wearing a white button up short sleeve shirt and black vest.
The vehicle is an older turquoise car, possibly a hatchback with the rims on the drivers side rusted. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
