AstraZeneca Vaccine to be Administered on Ages 60-64

Premier Fords plan for AstraZenecas COVID-19 vaccine will be going to those between the ages of 60-64.

This comes following the government would follow the recommendation from immunization experts and not use the AstraZeneca vaccine on anyone 65 and older.

Timing is a current concern for the vaccine rollout, as the shelf life of the vaccine is only one month and the province doesn’t have plans to open an online portal to book a shot until March 15th.

Currently there is no plan to vaccinate specific professions.
