Applications are now open in Wellington County for the Luella Logan Scholarship.
The annual scholarship offers $1500 to a woman pursuing post secondary studies in political sciences, public administration or a related undergraduate or graduate degree at a Canadian college or university.
The scholarship honours Luella Logan, the first female councilor to sit on Wellington County council.
The selection of the recipient is based on academic excellence and demonstration of leadership and interest in government with applications open until September 30th.
