Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath is walking back on comments she made opposing the idea of mandatory COVID-19 vaccines for education workers.
She said in a statement she made a mistake earlier suggesting a mandatory vaccine during a pandemic should take a back seat to charter rights.
Howath now saying she fully support mandatory vaccination in both health care and education based on science and public health priorities.
Premier Doug Ford has said he will not mandate vaccines for workers believing its a constitutional right to refuse a shot.
