The Avon Maitland District School Board along the District 8 OSSTF have announced this years recipients of the Excellence in Public Education Awards.
Recipients include secondary school teachers, students, support staff members, community members and two especially excellent elementary students.
Maureen Matchett, President of District 8 OSSTF says its important to recognize the examples of excellence in all areas of public education in Avon Maitland.
