Support has poured in as part of Adopt-A-Family which will see over 1400 families receive gifts for Christmas across Wellington County and Guelph.
The gift program put on annually by the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington supports those who struggle around this time of year which saw them hit a capacity this year much sooner than usual.
Adopt a Family currently is accepting “emergency referrals” from social service agencies until Christmas Day to support those in need, despite hitting capacity as they continue to accept gift cards as donations as a way to support the program.
