80 Percent of Canadians Say They Intend to Get Vaccinated from COVID-19

At least 80 percent of Canadians say they intend to get vaccinated against COVID-19 though fear about vaccine safety remains the biggest hesitancy against an injection.

At least 8 out of 10 surveyed in a Leger and the Association for Canadian Studies say they wouldn’t hesitate to get a vaccine.

Of those who said they wouldn’t get a vaccine or didn’t know if they would said some safety concerns of vaccines is the reason they wouldn’t get vaccinated or still aren’t sure.

Reports of the AstraZeneca vaccine causing blood clots was shot down but the United States has paused administering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine after reports of 6 rare blood clots affecting those two weeks after receiving the one shot vaccine.
