Over $700,000 is being put forward by the provincial government to support police services and unique focused programs aimed to help protect the community.
Over the next two years, Perth County OPP will receive $267,356 to support the Perth County Mobile Crisis Response Team Enhancement Program while Stratford Police will receive $240,000 for their mobile team.
Further, $60,893.02 will be given in a joint application by North and West Perth.
Wellington County will also see $187,239.40 to support the Wellington Fraud Prevention and Response Strategy.
