A 70 year old has been charged who capturing a wild raven in Puslinch.
On July 29th, OPP were called at around 4pm after a raven was caught by someone in a neighbourhood tree.
It was reported the caller heard a bird in distress and after reviewing doorbell camera footage saw someone enter the property, grab the raven by the legs and put it in their vehicle and leave.
The complainant said prior to the incident the suspect took interest in the raven and often visited to see it.
The raven was alter seen outside covered in an unknown substance preventing it from flying.
The 70 year old has been charged with Unlawfully Keep Live Specially Protect Wildlife.
The bird was cleaned up and found to no longer be in distress.
