A 45 year old is facing multiple charges after a case of intimate partner violence.
On November 16th at around 5:30pm, Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a disturbance at an address in Mount Forest. There were no reported injuries in the incident.
As a result a 45 year old North Wellington has been charged with Arson, three counts of Assault with a Weapon, Spousal Assault, Uttering Threats and Domestic Mischief.
As the accused was being arrested they were combative with police resulting in minor injuries to an officer and the accused given charges for Mischief and Assaulting an Officer.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
