The Community Centre for Brussels, Morris and Grey is getting upgrades and expansion for a total of $4.7 million.
The investment for the upgrades at the community centre are all in part with the Culture and Recreation Stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
Upgrades will include a fitness centre, kitchen facilities, auditoriums and new dressing rooms which will better accommodate those with disabilities and ensure they meet the Accessibility for Ontario with Disabilities Act.
The Government of Canada is contributing $1,915,200, the provincial government investing $1,595,840 while the municipality of Huron East contributing $1,276,959 to the cost.
