Wellington County OPP have laid 16 charges against a 31 year old after a crash in Guelph-Eramosa.
On August 25th at around 6pm, OPP responded to the scene with paramedics and fire services to a two vehicle crash on Fife Road after a vehicle didn’t stop for a stop sign.
As a result, a 31 year old man of Guelph was hit with 16 charges including;
- Operation while Impaired – alcohol and drug – Causing Bodily Harm
- Failure to Stop after Accident – Causing Bodily Harm
- Dangerous Operation – Causing Bodily Harm
- Refusal to Comply with Demand – Causing Bodily Harm
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
- Possession Property obtained by Crime over $5,000
- Possession Property obtained by Crime under $5,000
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Operation while Prohibited – Legal Restriction from any other Act of Parliament or Provincial Law (seven counts)
- Driving while Under Suspension
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
