Wellington County is launching its second intake of its Tourism Experience Development Program, continuing to build on supporting innovative, high quality visitor experiences across the county.
Continuing strong interest in 2025, the program offers grants of up to $3000 to help tourism businesses, organizations and event organizers to develop or enhance market ready experiences which highlight Wellington County’s natural beauty, local food, culture and rural charm.
Warden, Chris White, who also serves as Chair of Wellington Waterloo Community Futures says by supporting local businesses in developing new and enhanced experiences, they’re encouraging visitors to explore more communities and extend their stay beyond traditional tourism spots.
Funding is available for projects taking place between June 1st 2026 to March 15th 2027.
