A 22 year old from Mitchell has been charged after driving through a RIDE program.
On June 10th at around 1:44am, Perth County OPP was conducting a RIDE checkpoint on Wellington Street in West Perth.
After speaking with a male multiple times throughout the night and was showing signs of impairment, he later entered his vehicle and drive through the checkpoint.
The driver was later arrested and faces multiple charges including Operation while Impaired, Flight for a Peace Officer and Dangerous Operation.
The accused will appear in Stratford court on July 24th.
